Voices of Palestine hosted our second fundraiser, supporting justice for Palestinians. A formidable panel of Palestine experts addressed the question in everybody's mind: Where does international law stand today in the quest for justice for Palestinians?
The event also included an art auction with specially curated pieces from internationally renowned artists and designers, and a special performance from the legendary activist, musician and rock star Roger Waters.
All proceeds from the event and auction go to supporting Al-Haq Europe - a European human rights organisation in Belgium that is advocate for the effective and universal implementation of international law, thereby contributing to global efforts in the fight against impunity.

Al-Haq Europe strives to advocate for the effective implementation of international law, human rights, and relevant domestic and regional laws – therefore contributing to the overall efforts across the globe in the fight against impunity. Voices of Palestine was started to channel passion and a desire to help, into tangible action. There are a plethora of individuals, organisations and communities coming together in this very moment for a united cause. Its the devastation we are witnessing so readily at our fingertips which is triggering a sense of urgency to do something. To do anything...
Despite the insignificance of individual events, I decided I wanted to contribute in some way, by bringing these brilliant voices into one space to collaborate on the most effective ways to elevate the voices of the persecuted and alleviate oppression in whatever small ways we can.
I'm Yosra, the organiser - Egyptian, lived in six countries across four continents, working in the energy industry, currently based in London. I am not affiliated to any organisations and my opinions are uniquely my own; I see injustice against humanity taking place at this very moment in the Congo, Sudan and of course where these events are all about; Palestine. Voices of Palestine is a collective of the best minds uniting, who feel the same and I look forward to welcoming you and coming together to take small steps towards significant change, one event at a time..
