Our launch fundraiser and call to action event, to help rebuild Gaza in all directions. For the past 75 years, Palestine has been under siege facing apartheid, forced displacement & continuous bombardment which has left the people and land utterly devastated.
Between the 7th October and the middle of November 2023, the number of children which have been killed has exceeded the total number of Israelis killed by Palestinians since the creation of the state of Israel. This kind of complete disregard for humanity and relentless injustice is what we want to stop.
On this night, we brought together representatives of multiple facets of life, to shed light on the best ways we can come together to help Palestine rebuild itself and support its people, our family. Our aim was to bring together Voices of Palestine who represent multiple disciplines and perspectives, to share their viewpoints on what actions we can take as individuals, answering How can we help Palestine?
The event was primarily a fundraiser, with fine art pieces on auction, in aid of Fajr Scientific and the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians, with a focused panel discussion followed by live music.
The evening will host a canapé and drinks reception rather than a full dinner, in the interest of avoiding an indulgent experience, whilst the brothers and sisters who we are supporting are suffering. We hope to host more of these events in future, with all proceeds going to Palestine.
Fajr scientific is a US based world-class healthcare leader with more than 20 years of work in surgical-care settings, and 15 years of upper management experience at 4 nationally ranked medical organisation.
Fajr is a Palestinian registered local charity and their Gaza emergency relief is fundraising to provide 5,000 emergency surgeries in Gaza immediately after the ceasefire. Each surgery for a patient in Gaza costs £1,000. Every donation accelerates the healing and rebuilding process.

The ICJP is an independent organisation of lawyers, academics and politicians that works to protect and promote the rights of Palestinians wherever they may live.
ICJP believes that justice for the Palestinians can only be achieved if effective accountability for human rights violations and criminal acts is ensured. No state, including Israel, should be allowed to act with virtual impunity.
Most of the ICJP’s work is legal: it conducts and supports strategic litigation and legal actions in the United Kingdom and internationally. The Centre works with politicians and stakeholders to advocate for foreign policy that is informed both by international law and Palestinian realities on the ground. It also adopts an interdisciplinary approach, raising public awareness of the long-standing injustices against Palestinians through media and the arts.
